Jeremy Eichler is the author of Time’s Echo: The Second World War, the Holocaust, and the Music of Remembrance (Penguin Random House, 2023). Eichler is an award-winning writer, scholar, and music critic who serves as chief classical music critic of the Boston Globe. Time’s Echo was named “History Book of the Year” by The Sunday Times

Sebastian Ruth is a violist and educator committed to the connections between the arts and social change. Named one of the most 25 influential people in the strings world by Strings Magazine, Ruth is the founder of Community MusicWorks, an organization that connects professional musicians with urban youth in Providence.

This event is free and open to the public. Co-hosted by Yale Public Humanities and Yale Program for the Study of Antisemitism.
