Contingent is now open for pitches for a unique collaboration with @Ideas_History! Through essays and a virtual roundtable, this project will explore how people who work to interpret historic spaces for the public are doing intellectual history. contingentmagazine.org/historic-space
Contingent will publish a series of short essays from contributors the week of March 29, 2021. Contributors will then participate in a virtual roundtable on April 5, chaired by Contingent editor @erin_bartram and hosted by S-USIH as part of their 2020-21 virtual conference Essays will be 300-500 words; compensation is $100. Pitch us at pitches@contingentmag.org with a brief description of the historic space where you work, your position there, and how you do intellectual history in that historic space. Pitches due by 11/15/2020.
